FAQ
Do you ship Worldwide?
Yes, we ship internationally, our prices for shipping are fixed both for national and international orders.
Are components of the sunglasses replaceable?
As it stands all of our components are replaceable, this is due to the fact that we produce every part ourselves. So if something does go wrong and a part gets damaged or lost, just let us know and we’ll get to work on getting your sunnies back in working order.
What size do the sunglasses come in?
Currently our sunglasses come in one size, it measures at 133mm hinge to hinge, so if youve got a pair you already wear you can compare and see the difference. If this does differ and you need them smaller/wider fear not, due to the nature of the sunglasses and the material they are made from it is possible for you to make small adjustments by carefully bending the arms at the thin section of the arm so you can get the perfect fit.
What is Maker’s Choice and how is it different from me making me own custom set?
Maker’s choice is our way of creating a run of sunglasses that we paint and assemble into a variety of combinations that we think will look great then make them available for you to purchase, but once that set is sold its gone. Where as a custom order allows you to choose what combination you would like then we’ll get to work on making it and getting it to you asap, but do give us some generous lead time for custom orders as making them does take a decent amount of time!
What is your return policy?
If your unhappy with your purchase, please let us know and we can work toward a solution.
My product arrived damaged or not what ordered.
Please contact us if there’s any issues regarding the quality or what you’ve received and we’ll sort it out as soon as possible at info@skapa-designs.com.au
How are the lenses held in?
To make sure the lenses are a tight fit and don’t fall out they are cut to size to fit in our frames and then held in place by a rubber gasket, if you wish you could remove the gasket and change the lenses out with another colour to get the look you desire or to replace any damaged lenses.
What are the lenses made of?
Our current range of lenses are made from cr39 optical resin, these are not polarized but are compliant to the Australian standards of UV protection and are classified as a category 3, or UV400 in regards to the UV protection, the same as those used by other big brand sunglasses manufacturers.
Do the glasses fit prescription lenses?
currently our sunglasses don’t support prescription lenses but we are looking into making this possible in the near future!
